Enviroguard Pest Control - Health & Safety

As a company, Enviroguard have in place a full range of auditable quality, safety and environmental systems with various accreditations. This ensures that as a supplier we meet even the highest requirements enabling us to become not only an approved, but often a preferred supplier to many leading brands.

The work that we complete on behalf of our clients usually requires us to use chemicals in various forms and is frequently combined with working unsupervised and can be at heights.
EnviroGuard not only has to satisfy itself that all our Occupational Health and Safety needs are being met, but also seeks to reassure our clients that, by using EnviroGuard, they will have met their requirements under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 in relation to the safe management of contractors.

Training


Enviroguard is committed to training our staff and management in areas of health and safety, relevant to their areas of responsibility.

Enviroguard  Technicians receive training  that is relevant to the specialised industry in which they work, these courses ensure that our staff are competent in areas of:


•    Control of Pesticide Regualtions (Amended) 1997
•    Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
•    Control of Substances Hazardous to Health
•    Wildlife and Country Side Act 1981
•    Risk Assessments
•    Manual Handling
•    Working at Heights including Use of Basic Fall Arrest Equipment
•    Working Safely with Ladders
•    Mobile platforms (IPAFF)

Accreditations

Enviroguard has been keen to seek external evaluation of its health and safety procedures and policies.

EnviroGuard are active members of the British Pest Control Association adhereing to their code of practices that includes; auditable quality, health and safety and environmental systems.
