Birds such as pigeons, gulls and starlings have become a major pest in urban areas.

Live birds and associated nests and fouling not only cause buildings to look unsightly, but can cause long term damage. Dried droppings can also potentially spread infection, spores from the droppings can be carried on the wind and inhaled as dust, which can cause a flu-like illness called Ornithosis that can be fatal.

Bird Proofing

EnviroGuard supply, install and maintain a range of effective, unobtrusive and humane systems designed to safeguard buildings and working environments. These include Bird Nets, Anti-Perch Devices, Bird Wire Systems and the New Avi Shock System. Prior to installation buildings will be washed down and disinfected to remove fouling. All installations utilise either galvanised & aluminium fixings or, where appropriate, high grade stainless steel. Guarantees can be purchased with some schemes.

Enviroguard are one of the first companies in the uk to supply and install the new Avi Shock electronic bird proofing system, this system is low profile (6mm) high making it ideal for proofing listed buildings and areas where it is unaceptable for bird proofing systems to be seen from ground level, technical specifications can be viewed @ www.avishock.net
